Hello, my name is Karen Miller. I’m a passionate interior designer from Chicago with a keen interest in everything connected to design and furniture. My journey in the world of interior design, which began in my childhood, has led me to become a thought-leader in the industry and an influential voice in the design community.
My Journey in Interior Design
I officially started my professional career as an interior designer in 2003. Through hard work and dedication, I made significant strides in the industry. In 2006, I began organizing designer meetups and became an active community member, fostering dialogue and the exchange of innovative ideas within the design community.
Embracing Motherhood
My career took a brief pause a few years later when I embraced motherhood. I gave birth to a beautiful daughter and spent some cherished years nurturing her and enjoying the pleasures of parenthood.
Back to Professional Design
In 2010, I made my comeback into the professional world of interior design and joined Chicago Interior LLC. Within two years, due to my unwavering commitment and creative vision, I was appointed as the head of the design department.
ReclinerAdvice.com
In 2020, I also launched ReclinerAdvice.com as a pet project. My goal was to share my years of experience and knowledge in making homes more comfortable and aesthetically pleasing. I began the blog by providing comprehensive overviews and meticulously collected data about recliners and chairs. Since then, ReclinerAdvice.com has grown into a valuable resource for anyone seeking advice on interior design and furniture.
Thank you for visiting my blog. I hope that my insights and advice will help you create a home that is not just aesthetically pleasing, but also a true reflection of your style and personality.
